Quality and Product Administrator
Location: Erith, Kent – no remote working
Salary: Discussed on first phone call, depending on relevant skill set, plus discretionary annual bonus
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 8.45am to 5.15pm
Contract: Permanent, paid monthly

Skills and Experience
- Proven administrative experience, ideally within a quality assurance, product data, compliance or manufacturing environment.
- High level of attention to detail, with the ability to track information across multiple files and systems.
- Strong IT literacy, specifically with ERP systems (such as SAP), PIM software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Natural communicator who can collaborate effectively with multiple departments and external suppliers.
- Self-motivated approach to work, with excellent organisational and indexing skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Data management: maintain PIM (Product Information Management) and SAP systems regarding testing status, fit-for-purpose sign-offs and similar records.
- Maintain internal schedules to monitor and track outstanding quality, compliance and testing actions on flagged products.
- Inbox management: monitor and action incoming queries through the dedicated quality email channel.
- New product support: verify new product development (NPD) items against compliance criteria ahead of final manager sign-off.
- Audit coordination: gather and coordinate evidence packs and technical documentation to support Sedex ethical-sourcing audits alongside ISO 9001, 14001 and 22301 certifications.
- Reporting: assist the Compliance & Quality Manager with monthly reporting by tracking product-level compliance and fault-ratio data.
- Cross-department liaison: partner with the Product, Purchasing, and Sales & Marketing teams to distribute product conformity documentation for launches and clearance tasks.
- Supplier support: assist with the coordination of supplier audits and visit programmes.
