We are seeking an experienced Senior Automation Engineer to join a growing Intelligent Automation & Process Engineering team delivering enterprise-scale automation, AI and digital transformation initiatives.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong automation professional to take a lead role in designing, delivering and governing automation solutions using Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Agents, Power Platform, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power Pages, Azure and RPA technologies.
You will provide technical leadership across automation programmes, contribute to best practice and governance standards, mentor engineers and help shape the future direction of automation capability within a large-scale enterprise environment.
This role is ideal for experienced Senior Automation Engineers, Lead Automation Engineers, Power Platform Technical Leads, Intelligent Automation Consultants, Automation Solution Architects, RPA Engineers, Low-Code Technical Leads or Digital Automation Specialists.

Technical Leadership
- Provide technical leadership across Intelligent Automation and Power Platform initiatives.
- Mentor and support Automation Engineers, Developers and wider delivery teams.
- Establish engineering standards, development frameworks and best practices.
- Contribute to automation strategy, governance and capability development.
Solution Design & Development
- Design and deliver enterprise-grade automation solutions.
- Develop solutions using:
- Microsoft Power Automate (Cloud & Desktop)
- Microsoft Power Apps
- Microsoft Power Pages
- Copilot Agents
- Intelligent Virtual Agents (IVA)
- Azure Services
- RPA technologies
- Lead technical design activities across automation and integration projects.
- Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, maintainable and aligned to business objectives.
Intelligent Automation
- Deliver AI-powered automation and workflow orchestration solutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through intelligent automation.
- Support implementation of emerging AI technologies and Copilot-based solutions.
- Drive adoption of automation technologies across multiple business functions.
Integration & Architecture
- Design integrations between enterprise applications and business platforms.
- Support API-led integration strategies.
- Work closely with architects and platform teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
- Contribute to event-driven and cloud-native solution designs.
Governance & Delivery
- Ensure compliance with governance, security and architectural standards.
- Drive modern engineering practices including:
- CI/CD
- Automated testing
- Release management
- Code quality assurance
- Documentation standards
- Support platform governance and operational best practice.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Engage with stakeholders to identify and prioritise automation opportunities.
- Provide technical consultancy and solution recommendations.
- Translate business requirements into scalable automation solutions.
- Influence senior technical and non-technical stakeholders.
