Director of Global Azure Cloud Services

We are seeking a visionary leader to join a fast-growing global technology organisation during a pivotal cloud transformation journey. In this senior role, you will shape the strategy, architecture, and operations of our enterprise Azure environment, driving innovation across AI, cloud services, and managed operations.

What You'll Do:

• Define and lead the global Azure cloud strategy, aligning with business objectives and digital transformation goals.
• Champion AI and machine learning adoption within Azure to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
• Oversee architecture, design, and deployment of scalable, secure, and resilient cloud platforms.
• Lead global teams and manage vendor relationships to deliver enterprise-wide cloud initiatives.
• Ensure governance, compliance, and security standards across regions, including GDPR, ISO, and NIST frameworks.
• Drive continuous improvement, leveraging emerging technologies to optimise cloud services and adoption.

What We're Looking For:

• 10+ years of IT leadership experience, with at least 5 years focused on Azure cloud strategy and operations.
• Proven experience managing global cloud environments and distributed teams.
• Expertise in Azure services, cloud architecture, AI/ML integration, and managed service operations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with hybrid/multi-cloud environments and cloud cost optimisation.
• Relevant certifications (preferred but not essential) such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure AI Engineer.
