Compensation: £37,000 - £54,600 + benefits
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time - 37 hours per week

Reports to: Senior Process Analyst Who They Are
A major UK utilities organisation is building a brand new Process & Automation Centre of Excellence from scratch.
3-year funded programme. Board-level sponsorship. 300+ automation opportunities already identified. Led by an experienced Head of Automation & AI who has built similar capabilities at major UK brands.
They need Process Engineers / Process Analysts, not Business Analysts. What You'll Own
Process Discovery, Mapping & Documentation
Conduct discovery workshops, interviews, shadowing and data reviews. Produce BPMN 2.0 process maps, SIPOCs, RACIs, SOPs, and process hierarchies.
Process Analysis & Insight
Analyse performance, risks, pain points and inefficiencies. Support root-cause analysis, bottleneck assessment, and present insights to senior stakeholders.
Improvement, Digitisation & Automation Readiness
Identify optimisation and automation opportunities. Standardise processes, eliminate waste, strengthen controls, and support handover to the Automation CoE.
Governance, Compliance & Stakeholder Engagement
Maintain documentation aligned to governance frameworks. Run workshops. Ensure processes reflect regulatory and compliance requirements. Must-Have
Process Engineering / Process Analysis background - not Business Analysis Strong BPMN 2.0 and process modelling understanding Lean / Six Sigma / CMMI experience Process mapping tools - Visio, ARIS, Miro/Mural, Process Advisor Mid-to-large company background UK right to work - no sponsorship Nice-to-Have
