Python Developer (Contract)
Rate: £470-£500 per day (Inside IR35)
Location: Fully remote (UK)
Contract: 6-month rolling
Security: Active SC clearance required

We're working with a public-sector digital programme to engage an experienced Python Developer for a long-term contract role, focused on building and maintaining content-driven and service-oriented platforms.

Tech Stack

The Role

  • Develop and maintain Python applications using Django and Wagtail

  • Build and support cloud-hosted services on AWS

  • Deploy and operate applications within Kubernetes environments

  • Work as part of an agile delivery team on production systems used at scale

  • Contribute clean, maintainable, well-tested code

Requirements

  • Strong commercial experience with Python, Django, and Wagtail

  • Hands-on AWS experience

  • Working knowledge of Kubernetes in production environments

  • Comfortable working in a public-sector or regulated setting

  • Active SC clearance is mandatory

  • UK-based and able to work fully remote
