Our client is a globally recognised EdTech platform that has helped millions of learners worldwide master data science, analytics, and AI. Now they're going further - and they need a world-class Staff AI Engineer to help build the next generation of intelligent learning experiences.

What you'll own:

You won't be a feature factory. This is a high-ownership, high-impact role where you'll:

• Design and ship LLM-powered features directly into their learning platform - think intelligent code feedback, AI-assisted learning paths, and smart content recommendations
• Build and maintain RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, and evaluation frameworks that run reliably at scale
• Set the technical direction for how AI is integrated across the product — from architecture decisions to production observability
• Be a force multiplier for the engineering team through mentorship, code reviews, and raising the technical bar

You're a strong fit if you have:

✅ 6–10 years of hands-on AI/ML engineering experience, with a clear track record of shipping LLM-based systems to production (not just prototyping)

✅ Deep expertise in Python, modern LLM frameworks, and cloud infrastructure

✅ Experience building AI features inside a consumer or B2B product - developer tools, EdTech, or similar a big plus

✅ Strong engineering fundamentals: you care about reliability, observability, and clean architecture

✅ A builder mindset - you're energized by ambiguous problems, not slowed down by them
