  • Integrate factory sensors (temperature, pressure, vibration) with data handling systems

  • Collaborate across departments to support predictive maintenance and automation goals

  • Apply cybersecurity best practices in IoT design and implementation

  • Use programming languages including Python, JavaScript (Node.js), C/C++, and C#

  • Interface with PLCs, SCADA systems, and industrial robots (ABB, Fanuc, Kuka)

  • Support ongoing development of smart manufacturing tools and dashboards

Ideal Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Controls Engineering, or similar

  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and cloud/edge architecture

  • Strong programming skills (Python, JavaScript, C#, etc.)

  • Knowledge of SQL databases and data-driven systems

  • Hands-on experience with real-time connectivity and IIoT frameworks

Desirable:

  • Experience with Siemens PLCs and industrial robot programming

  • Familiarity with SCADA, MQTT protocol, and predictive maintenance systems

  • Understanding of manufacturing workflows and quality assurance in fast-paced environments

  • Certifications in ITIL, PRINCE2, or relevant project management methods

What You’ll Bring
  • A problem-solving mindset and curiosity for emerging technologies

  • Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills

  • Flexibility to manage multiple projects across production and engineering teams

  • Ability to thrive in a high-tech, dynamic factory environment

  • A hands-on approach with a drive for continuous improvement

What We Offer
  • Be part of a global supply chain revolutionising smart manufacturing

  • Lead innovation projects that directly impact production and sustainability

  • Career development opportunities in a growing, technology-led organisation
