SAP Data Owner - S/4HANA Programme Hybrid North West UK

 

We're partnered with a leading manufacturing organisation in the North West of the UK, currently undergoing a major S/4HANA transformation. As part of this programme, a new strategic role has been created for an experienced SAP Data Owner to define and guide the organisation's data strategy.

 

The Role

This is a strategic, standalone position within the S/4 core programme team. You will be responsible for shaping the global data strategy and providing advisory oversight of the S/4HANA data programme, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the data strategy framework across the organisation
  • Lead the S/4HANA data programme from a strategic perspective
  • Define master data governance principles and advise on suitable tools and approaches
  • Provide guidance on data ownership and delivery responsibilities, helping leadership determine what stays in-house versus with system integrators
  • Collaborate with SAP Analytics and Master Data teams to align data initiatives
  • Influence stakeholders and embed best practices across business and IT

 

About You:

  • Extensive experience with SAP master data
  • Proven track record in strategic S/4HANA programme leadership
  • Experience in designing or advising on enterprise data strategy
  • Expertise in data governance frameworks
  • Strong advisory skills with the ability to influence leadership

 

Location & Working Style:

  • Hybrid working: primarily remote with 1 day per week on-site in the North West UK
