Data Security Engineer
Looking for a role where you're trusted to lead and not just follow a script? This could be your chance to define and deliver a brand-new data security project in your own way.
If you're the kind of person who thrives when given space to make an impact, this is the role for you.
I am working with a forward-thinking housing associations to recruit for a Data Security Engineer to lead and drive forward a brand-new data security project. You will have the freedom to shape your own work and data security across the organisation.
This isn't a role where you'll be handed a rigid checklist. In fact, the project hasn't even been fully scoped yet. You'll have the chance to open the lid, see what's been done before, and define what's next. As the go-to expert for all things data security.
You will be leading the design and delivery of the new data security project from scratch, think DLP, Sensitivity Labelling, Microsoft Purview, Sharepoint, Data Lifecycle Management and more.
You'll be working closely with their Microsoft Gold Partner and supporting wider data governance efforts, helping to shape policies and best practices from day one.
Essential experience needed:
- Purview and M365 Compliance & Security.
- DLP, Labelling, retention polices and Sharepoint.
- Ideally worked in cloud-first environments, understand data governance, and comfortable being the go-to expert in the room.
They're looking for someone with plenty of initiative, and not afraid to challenge or ask why.
In return, you'll join a genuine people-first organisation. If you're the kind of person who wants to grow and progress while doing meaningful, project-led work, this is a brilliant opportunity to do just that.
This is remote role with the need to be onsite in one of their southern office once or twice a month.
The salary on offer is between £50,000 and £55,000 with some great benefits.
