Recruit with Purpose are partnered with a fantastic housing association in Kent who are looking for a Application Support Analyst to join their growing IT team.

This role will offer social purpose, but also provide you with the opportunities, training and support to set yourself up for a rewarding career in IT whilst making a significant impact on the lives of thousands.

As part of the IT team at this housing association, you'll provide essential 2nd and 3rd line support for core business applications such as their housing management system (One Housing, asset management system (Keystone) and key platforms including Microsoft Dynamics and M365.

You'll play a vital role in investigating and resolving application-related issues to ensure minimal disruption to day-to-day operations. Additionally, you'll proactively monitor system performance, identify potential risks, and implement solutions to keep everything running smoothly and efficiently.

In this role you will have mapped out career paths from day 1 and will receive ample training and development to fast track you on your way.

What you will be doing in this role:

  • Helping to fix and support the key software systems that staff across the organisation rely on day-to-day
  • Working alongside the wider IT team to keep important systems running smoothly for both frontline and office-based teams
  • Building and looking after tools and solutions using Microsoft 365, including apps, automated workflows and shared online workspaces
  • Liaising with external software companies to sort out issues and bring in improvements
  • Helping to test and roll out system updates, including checking everything works as expected before changes go live
  • Carrying out day-to-day system admin tasks such as managing user access and keeping systems configured and maintained

What they want to see from you in this role:

  • Experience supporting, maintaining and setting up connected software systems, with a good understanding of CRMs, data tools and digital technologies
  • Experience analysing business systems, including gathering requirements, mapping out processes and finding ways to improve how things work
  • A proven ability to deliver a range of work and projects on time, without compromising on quality
  • Confident asking the right questions to fully understand not just what is needed, but why, and making sure this is clearly agreed and recorded
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills with a good working knowledge of the broader Microsoft 365 suite
  • A natural ability to build good working relationships with colleagues at all levels, as well as external partners
  • A practical, can-do attitude someone who is comfortable getting into the detail, managing their own workload and getting things over the line
