IT Program Manager

Recruit with Purpose are partnered with a Housing association in the London who are looking for a Program Manager to come oversee their IT projects and act as the bridge between tech and the wider organisation.

In this role you will be leading on multiple projects and working with the organisation to deliver and oversee their IT projects. They are looking for someone who has worked in housing previously as you will be working closely with stakeholders across this housing association and aligning wider business objectives with the tech teams.

You must have experience working in a project / program manager or similar position, working in housing. Stakeholder management experience will be essential as well as the ability to prioritise and oversee multiple projects at the same time.

What you will be doing in this role:

  • Lead Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure alignment and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to refine requirements, and prioritise requirements.
  • Acting as the bridge between IT and the rest of the business
  • Identify, track, and remove impediments to support smooth delivery and maintain team momentum.
  • Empower the development team to self-organise, make informed decisions, and take collective ownership of outcomes.
  • Ensure transparency by communicating project progress, risks, and issues clearly to all stakeholders.
  • Help to further collaboration, trust, and high performance within the development team and across the organisation

What they are looking for from you:

  • Communicating effectively with a variety of audiences across the business
  • Cloud computing (AWS or Azure)
  • IT Project / Programme Management background is essential
  • Experience utilising web services/APIs to integrate and streamline systems.
  • Proven track record of managing and delivering technological projects within an agile framework, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
  • Familiarity of basic software development would be advantageous but not essential
