NEC Consultant
Recruit with Purpose are working with a Housing Association in the South East to find them a NEC Housing Management System Consultant to support a critical phase of system development, optimisation, and integration. This role is ideal for someone who combines deep NEC system expertise with strong technical delivery capability.
Role Overview
You’ll lead the technical configuration and enhancement of the NEC Housing Management System, ensuring it is fully aligned with operational needs across housing, asset management, repairs, and customer services. Your work will directly improve system performance, data quality, and end‐user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading implementation, configuration, and optimisation of the NEC Housing Management System
- Integrating NEC with other core systems (repairs, finance, asset management, CRM, document management)
- Designing and configuring workflows, modules, forms, and automated processes
- Supporting data migration, cleansing, mapping, and validation activities
- Conducting system testing, UAT cycles, and technical troubleshooting
- Developing dashboards, reporting tools, and performance insights
- Working closely with business teams to translate operational requirements into system functionality
- Providing technical guidance and knowledge transfer to internal teams
Essential Experience
- Strong background working with the NEC Housing Management System (mandatory)
- Proven experience in system implementation, integration, and configuration
- Housing Association or Local Authority housing experience
- Understanding of housing operations (repairs, tenancy, rents, compliance, asset management)
- Ability to work independently and deliver technical solutions at pace
- Strong analytical, problem‐solving, and stakeholder engagement skills

Contract Details
- 6‐month interim contract
- Outside IR35
- Daily rate dependent on experience
