Technical Compliance Manager

Job Title: Technical Compliance Manager Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 (depending on experience)Location: Dunmow (Office & Site Based)Term: Permanent Hours: Full time, Monday - Friday Role Overview An experienced Technical Compliance Manager is required to provide technical oversight, compliance support and on-site leadership across electrical projects. The role combines office-based supervision with leading larger installation and testing works, as well as training and supporting engineers and apprentices. Key Responsibilities
  • Act as first point of contact for technical queries
  • Review and sign off EIC, EICR and Minor Works certificates
  • Generate remedial quotations from inspection reports
  • Lead larger installation and testing projects on site
  • Conduct regular site and engineer audits in line with NICEIC guidelines
  • Deliver toolbox talks and support engineer/apprentice development
  • Support surveys, planning, risk assessments and project scheduling
  • Check technical reports (PAT, thermographic, load monitoring, emergency lighting)
  • Ensure paperwork and certification are completed accurately and on time
  • Promote strong health & safety standards at all times
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Recent experience as a Qualifying or Technical Supervisor
  • Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
  • ECS Approved Electrician Card
  • Minimum 5 years' commercial/industrial electrical experience
  • Inspection, testing and certification experience
  • PAT testing knowledge
  • Strong understanding of electrical regulations and safety standards
  • Computer literate
