PHP Developer

Fully remote opportunity for a skilled and self-motivated PHP Developer to join a collaborative development team working on a cloud-based recruitment CRM platform.

 

The system automates the entire temporary staffing lifecycle - from booking to billing - and is designed to streamline shift scheduling, compliance, digital timesheets, candidate communications, and gross profit forecasting.

 

This role offers the chance to work with a modern LAMP-based tech stack in an agile environment, contributing to a fast-evolving product with real-world impact.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and jQuery
  • Write clean, well-documented code following best practices
  • Collaborate with developers, designers, and stakeholders in Agile sprints
  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily standups
  • Debug and resolve issues across development, test, and production environments
  • Document tasks clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of tools, processes, and technologies

 

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a software engineering role
  • Strong proficiency in:
  • PHP (Laravel or similar frameworks)
  • MySQL
  • JavaScript & jQuery
  • Linux environments and CLI tools
  • Solid front-end development skills with a focus on UX/UI
  • Experience working in Agile development environments
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Experience with Git, RESTful APIs, and writing feature/unit tests
  • Ability to refactor legacy applications using modern standards

 

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with React or Vue.js
  • Familiarity with AI tools/APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face)
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with Meilisearch and WebSockets
