Senior Software Engineer

Red Badger have partnered with a leading AI Start up who are looking to boost their engineering team due to high speed growth.

Tech Stack:

Backend: Python is our go-to for its versatility and suitability for both application

logic and data processing, fostering collaboration.

Frontend: We value great UX; expect React and rigorous design implementation

(using Figma for design collaboration).

Databases: Relational databases often form our core, but we use others where

appropriate.

Deployment: Everything lives in Docker for consistency and reproducibility.

Cloud: We leverage AWS for infrastructure

This is a hybrid role where you'll be spending 2/3 days a week onsite in London

What youll bring:

Significant professional experience (e.g., 5+ years) in full-stack software

development.

Strong proficiency in Python for backend development.

Experience with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular).

Solid understanding of database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and data

modeling.

Experience designing and building RESTful APIs.

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (e.g.,

Docker).

Proven ability to architect and deliver complex features end-to-end.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and

collaboratively.

Strong communication skills.

Bonus Points: Experience with financial concepts or working in a startup environment.
