Account Executive - IT Sales

My well established and fast-growing IT hardware company delivering cutting-edge devices and tailored technology solutions to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). With a strong presence in the European market and ambitious growth plans, they are looking for a dynamic Account Executive to join their London-based team and drive new business growth.

The Opportunity

As an Account Executive, you'll play a critical role in expanding the customer base across UK. This role is ideal for a driven sales professional with proven success in IT solutions sales, particularly in hardware (devices, endpoints, infrastructure), who is comfortable managing long and complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.

You'll work closely with technical specialists and internal teams to identify opportunities, shape solutions, and close deals that deliver real value to our customers.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Proactively identify, engage, and win new SME clients in the UK

  • Sell a wide range of IT hardware and associated solutions (including devices, infrastructure, and support services)

  • Build and manage a strong pipeline, leveraging both outbound efforts and marketing-generated leads

  • Lead and navigate complex sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers

  • Engage with IT managers, procurement leads, and C-level stakeholders to understand business challenges and align our solutions

  • Use structured sales methodologies (e.g. MEDDICC) to qualify opportunities and close deals efficiently

  • Collaborate with internal teams (pre-sales, logistics, support) to deliver a seamless customer experience

  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets

It would be a distinct advantage to have any of the skill and experience;

Proven experience in B2B IT solution sales, with a strong track record of hitting or exceeding targets? Demonstrable success selling IT devices or hardware solutions to SME clients? Ability to manage and close complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders involved? Experience engaging business and technical decision-makers at all levels? Understanding and application of sales methodologies such as MEDDICC, SPIN, or Challenger? Strong commercial acumen, communication, and negotiation skills? Based in or around London, with flexibility to travel to client sites when required
