My public sector client are seeking a talented Audio Visual Engineer to join there team. As an Audio Visual Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, installation, and maintenance of AV systems, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. Including service and support.
Responsibilities:
- Design and engineer audiovisual systems tailored to the specific needs.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine optimal equipment placement and configuration.
- Develop comprehensive system schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment lists.
- Install and configure AV equipment, including displays, projectors, speakers, microphones, amplifiers, and control systems.
- Perform thorough testing and troubleshooting to ensure system functionality and reliability.
- Provide training and technical support to clients and end-users.
- Provide support on VC and live events
- Stay current with emerging audiovisual technologies and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- 2 + Years proven experience in AV
- Proficiency with audiovisual equipment, including but not limited to, video processors, switchers, DSPs, and codecs.
- Strong understanding of audiovisual standards and protocols, such as HDMI, HDBaseT, and Dante.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
