Fullstack Developer & Backend Developer Roles

Fully Remote (Ad-hoc travel covered)
Active SC Clearance required

We are hiring two experienced developers-a Fullstack Developer and a Backend Developer-to build secure, scalable digital services on AWS. Both roles involve working with modern microservices, event-driven architecture, and delivering high-quality solutions in multidisciplinary teams.

You will work across both Front End and Back End components to deliver responsive, accessible, and robust applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop responsive UIs using JavaScript, HTML, and modern web standards

• Build Back End services with Node.js and Spring Boot

• Design and consume REST APIs, integrate event-driven services (Kafka), and work with NoSQL databases

• Deploy and maintain applications via Kubernetes (EKS) and Docker

• Embed security (SSO, RBAC, TLS, KMS) and observability into development

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, automated testing, and code reviews

You will focus on building high-performance Back End services and secure integrations aligned with AWS best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build Back End microservices in Spring Boot and JavaScript

• Create and manage RESTful APIs, event-driven integrations, and NoSQL data models

• Deploy containerised services through Docker and Kubernetes (EKS)

• Implement strong security controls (IDAM/IdP, SSO, RBAC, encryption) and AWS monitoring/telemetry

• Ensure high availability, performance, and automation through CI/CD and DevOps practices

• Collaborate closely with product, security, and architecture teams to meet DWP-level service standards

• Strong experience delivering large-scale services on AWS

• Background in microservices architecture and cloud-native design

• Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines, Git, automated testing, and modern engineering practices

• Experience collaborating in multidisciplinary teams with a focus on security, performance, and reliability
