Compliance Systems Manager
We are working with a top International law firm who are looking for a Compliance Systems manager to come onboard the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent the Compliance Department in meetings with internal stakeholders and external vendors, ensuring departmental needs and objectives are effectively communicated.
- Develop a thorough understanding of existing compliance and business acceptance processes, as well as the department’s future goals and projects.
- Manage the development, maintenance, and regular updates of Compliance systems and tools, including Intapp, WorldCheck, Orbis, and Thirdfort.
- Support the Compliance and senior management teams with data extraction, analysis, and reporting through Intapp and Microsoft Reporting Services.
- Monitor and maintain data quality during system migrations and on an ongoing basis.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert, assisting technology teams with system design, testing, and implementation of new functionality.
- Oversee post-implementation performance, gathering feedback and assisting with troubleshooting and enhancements.
- Maintain and update departmental documentation, procedures, policies, and guidance materials.
- Contribute to training initiatives by producing materials and providing guidance on new system functionality.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a compliance or business acceptance role within a law firm.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Intapp Intake, Conflicts, and other Intapp products (e.g., Terms and Walls).
- Proven experience in client due diligence, anti-money laundering (AML), conflict checks, and client onboarding processes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to research, evaluate, and develop creative solutions.
- Excellent IT proficiency, particularly across the Microsoft Office suite, with enthusiasm for learning new systems and software.
- Confident communicator able to build positive relationships with fee earners and support staff.
- Experience contributing to system improvement or change management projects.
- Familiarity with additional legal technology platforms such as iManage (preferred but not essential).
