About the Opportunity
We are seeking multiple experienced Finance Project Managers with strong backgrounds in the Insurance sector to lead and deliver end-to-end project releases across a portfolio of finance and HR system initiatives. These roles involve working within a hybrid environment, with regular on-site presence required in Liverpool.
You will be responsible for owning project delivery from initiation to closure, driving governance, and ensuring successful implementation across finance systems, HR platforms, and SAP environments. Experience in system decommissioning is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full end-to-end lifecycle of finance and HR system projects, including planning, execution, release management, and post-go-live support.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business requirements.
- Oversee release schedules and coordinate project dependencies across multiple workstreams.
- Work closely with Finance, HR, Technology, and Business stakeholders to drive clarity and successful outcomes.
- Manage SAP-related project activities, integrations, upgrades, and decommissioning of legacy systems.
- Produce high-quality project documentation, reporting, RAID management, and governance updates.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls relevant to the insurance sector.
- Support and embed change management activities to prepare the business for system and process changes.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Finance Project Manager within the Insurance industry.
- Strong end-to-end project delivery experience, including release management.
- Background working with Finance and HR systems, with solid knowledge of SAP.
- Demonstrated experience in system decommissioning projects.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of project governance and PMO processes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment across multiple concurrent projects.
- Comfortable with hybrid working and willing to travel to Liverpool as required.
