Salary: Up to £55k

Location: Bristol (Hybrid, 2 days a week)

About the role

I’m proud to be working with an award-winning law firm undergoing significant investment in technology, digital transformation and innovation. They’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst to focus on digital and innovation-focused projects and play a key role in shaping and delivering technology-led change and AI enablement.

This is a great opportunity for a digital BA with strong knowledge of Agile who enjoys operating between business and technology, turning complex problems into practical solutions and working with stakeholders from discovery through to delivery.

This is a hybrid position, working in their central Bristol offices twice a week and they offer an excellent range of benefits, including private health insurance and a dedicated personal training allowance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery and requirements gathering activity for digital, technology, innovation and AI projects across the firm
  • Work with business and technical stakeholders (internal & external) to understand problems, identify opportunities and define effective solutions
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to explore requirements, processes and future ways of working
  • Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria and prioritised backlogs
  • Analyse existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement, optimisation and technology adoption
  • Support Agile ceremonies and ensure requirements remain aligned with business priorities
  • Contribute to technology and innovation initiatives, including projects involving emerging technologies and AI
  • Produce clear documentation and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Business Analysis experience, ideally within a professional services environment
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies
  • Proven experience delivering technology, digital transformation, innovation or AI-related projects
  • Strong understanding of requirements gathering, process analysis, user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Comfortable working closely with technical teams and translating between business and technology
  • Excellent stakeholder management, both internal and external
  • An appreciation of testing, with experience in working alongside QA teams
  • BCS Business Analysis certification, or equivalent
  • Experience with tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps
