Infrastructure Engineer

Hybrid - Bath x2 a week

I’m working with a global tech organisation delivering platforms into the financial services space, currently going through a major cloud transformation. This role sits in a hands-on infrastructure team, blending traditional 3rd line server support with modern, cloud-first engineering as they continue their AWS migration.

You’ll be supporting and improving a mix of on-prem and cloud environments, working closely with engineering teams to keep systems stable, scalable, and moving forward.

Key responsibilities

• 3rd line support across server and infrastructure environments
• Manage and maintain Windows/Linux servers (on-prem & cloud)
• Monitor performance, availability, and capacity
• Support ongoing AWS migration and infrastructure improvements
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues
• Contribute to automation and CI/CD improvements

Skills & experience

• Background in 3rd line / infrastructure support
• Experience with AWS
• Strong Windows Server (Linux beneficial)
• Active Directory, DHCP, DNS
• Networking fundamentals
• Scripting
• Nice to have: Docker, Terraform, CI/CD
