Salary: Up to £65k | Location: Southampton (Hybrid)

The role:

We’re looking for an experienced Senior .NET Developer to join a growing in-house development team within a renowned financial services organisation. This is a great opportunity to work on enterprise-grade applications that are central to daily operations, with a strong focus on maintainability, scalability, and performance.

You’ll play a key role in the development and support of a suite of C#.NET applications, contributing across the full SDLC - from design and development through to third-line support and continuous improvement. You’ll also collaborate closely with infrastructure, service delivery and change teams to ensure smooth delivery and system stability.

Key responsibilities:

• Designing and building secure, robust .NET applications using C#, VB.NET, SQL and more
• Supporting systems and troubleshooting complex technical issues
• Contributing to architecture and deployment standards, including automation where possible
• Driving improvements across code quality, documentation, and delivery processes
• Working in a structured environment with established DevOps tools and IT governance

Required experience:

• At least 5 years of .NET development experience within the financial services industry
• Strong technical skills and experience in C#, Azure, automation, Web APIs, SQL and software architecture
• A Computer Science-related degree
• Experience in using Git, Jira, and Azure DevOps
• Confident communicator with a proactive mindset and attention to detail
