We are seeking an experienced developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of business-critical applications for the Construction industry. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in developing business applications with real practical experience in SQL and knowledge of XML. The role requires some coding skills, ideally with C#, but is primarily focused towards solutions within RedSky's own "low-code" framework.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain business applications for our customers.
- Work with SQL and XML to build applications using RedSky’s own framework.
- Collaborate with teams to design scalable, maintainable solutions using appropriate technologies.
- Ensure code quality through thorough reviews, rigorous testing, and adherence to established development best practices.
- Provide technical input during requirements gathering, design workshops, and system documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex application and integration issues.
- Proven experience in developing and supporting business applications .
- Strong understanding and practical use of SQL in business applications
- Appreciation of C# and its role in enterprise application development.
- Working knowledge of JSON as a lightweight data format.
- Familiarity with application lifecycle management and version control tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Construction industry experience
- Understanding of database systems.
- Knowledge of cloud-based environments (Azure) and modern DevOps practices.
- Experience with Agile/ SDLC methodologies.
- Claude Code
- Analytical and detail-oriented, with a commitment to delivering quality solutions.
- Strong communication skills to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn new technologies.
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent career experience).
- Relevant Microsoft certifications (advantageous but not essential).
