Business Development Manager
What is the aim of this role?
The primary aim of the role is to initiate and develop relationships with new customers, in order to expand the Managed Services client base and to achieve the gross margin and contract value targets. What are the key responsibilities of this role? Duties will include, but are not restricted to the following -- Developing new business relationships (either from leads generated personally (cold calling) or by the Marketing team): making follow up calls, conducting new business presentations, making customer visits etc
- Construct and implement key account plans for new customers
- Monitor and maintain customers to ensure consistent delivery of business within targets
- Facilitating and participating in business negotiations on behalf of Redcentric, providing best practice advice to all customers
- Liaising with all appropriate contacts both internally and externally to ensure that negotiations/deals progress smoothly. Internal contacts include Sales support, Accounts, Divisional Directors, Main Board Directors, Technical Consultants. External contacts will vary with each deal
- Working to achieve both individual and team targets (agreed) within budgetary constraints
- Updating and maintaining the Redcentric CRM system in line with the Sales process.
