About the Role:

The Business Development Representative (BDR) will be responsible for generating a qualified pipeline across EMEA by identifying, engaging, and qualifying opportunities within both the JD Edwards and Oracle Fusion markets.

This role reports to the EMEA Sales Leader and supports three Sales Representatives with distinct regional and solution focuses:

  • One Sales Representative focused on JD Edwards customers in the UK and Ireland, selling Cloud9 Hosting, Managed Support Services, Functional and Technical Application Support, Redfaire IP Solutions, and consulting services.
  • One Sales Representative focused on JD Edwards customers across mainland Europe, with a similar remit spanning managed services, cloud, consulting, and Redfaire IP.
  • One Fusion Sales Representative focused on Oracle SCM and HCM opportunities in the UK and Ireland, supporting organisations looking to modernise business processes through Oracle Cloud applications.

Based remotely in the UK or Ireland, the Business Development Representative will execute targeted outbound campaigns, nurture inbound leads, and support regional marketing initiatives to generate qualified meetings and opportunities for the EMEA sales team.

A strong command of both English and French is essential, as the role will involve engaging stakeholders across the UK, Ireland, and French-speaking parts of Europe.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively engage JD Edwards and Oracle prospects across EMEA through outbound calling, email, LinkedIn, and event-led outreach.
  • Qualify prospects and secure high-quality sales meetings for the EMEA Sales Representatives.
  • Deliver focused outbound campaigns aligned to Redfaire’s core offerings, including Cloud9 Hosting, Managed Support, Functional and Technical Application Support, AP Automation, DataWaire, Oracle SCM, Oracle HCM, and strategic consulting services.
  • Support account-based and territory-based outreach across both JD Edwards and Fusion solution areas.
  • Build detailed profiles of target organisations using HubSpot, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, and other tools to identify key stakeholders, technology landscape, and potential needs.
  • Engage with prospects in both English and French where appropriate, particularly across France and other French-speaking regions.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to execute nurture sequences, event follow-ups, webinar campaigns, and targeted outbound programmes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely updates of all prospecting activity, contacts, and meeting outcomes in HubSpot.
  • Meet and exceed activity, conversion, and meeting-booked KPIs as defined by sales leadership.
  • Develop a working knowledge of JD Edwards, Oracle Fusion SCM, Oracle Fusion HCM, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, and Redfaire’s managed service, consulting, AI, and low-code offerings.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum 18 months’ experience in Business Development, Sales Development, or Lead Generation, ideally in IT, software, SaaS, ERP, or consulting.
  • Fluent in English and French, with the confidence to engage senior business and IT stakeholders in both languages.
  • Strong communication, prospecting, and discovery skills, with the ability to open conversations with decision-makers and senior influencers.
  • Experience using HubSpot or a similar CRM for activity tracking, pipeline support, and reporting.
  • Demonstrable success in outbound prospecting, campaign execution, or meeting generation.
  • Highly organised, resilient, and able to manage multiple priorities across different territories and solution areas.
  • Interest in enterprise technology and digital transformation, with a willingness to learn about JD Edwards, Oracle Fusion Applications, OCI, and Redfaire’s wider portfolio.
  • Knowledge of JD Edwards, Oracle Cloud, Fusion SCM, Fusion HCM, or ERP environments would be an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline preferred.
