The Role

As a Technical Estimator, you’ll be the crucial link between sales and operations, ensuring projects are scoped, priced, and documented with precision. You’ll:

• Produce detailed, accurate quotations for bespoke AV projects
• Collaborate with the sales team on early-stage scoping of high-value projects
• Attend client meetings and technical briefings, offering expertise and upsell options
• Prepare flexible pricing models to suit budgets and encourage upselling
• Support tender responses, including kit justifications and technical summaries
• Manage smooth handover to operations with drawings, timelines, and scope clarity
• Analyse project performance to refine future quoting accuracy
• Stay ahead of AV trends, products, and supplier developments

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

• Strong technical knowledge of AV systems
• Experience quoting complex solutions
• Proven ability to scope projects accurately in line with client expectations
• Excellent attention to detail and a process-driven approach
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
• Strong team collaboration skills

Desirable (but not essential):

• Familiarity with quoting/project management systems
• Knowledge of AV industry trends and emerging tech
• Experience with tenders or bids
• Training or knowledge-sharing experience
• Exposure to high-value project environments
