Our client is seeking a Lead Dynamics Architect to take a leading role in designing, strategising, and documenting large or complex applications within a cloud-first environment. This position focuses on utilising MS Power Platform, Dynamics, and Power Apps within Azure, providing an exciting opportunity to shape and guide the future of our technology architecture.



Day-to-day of the role:

  • Design and strategise for the implementation of large or complex applications using MS Power Platform and Dynamics within Azure.
  • Understand and effectively use different tools within the ecosystem, including Model and Canvas apps, and plugins from XrmToolBox.
  • Extend Dynamics functionality using PCF Controls and design configurations and customisation of Dataverse/Dynamics entities and forms.
  • Integrate PowerApps with other Azure components like Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, and Azure Functions.
  • Provide technical leadership across service squads, project, and operational teams, ensuring the architecture aligns with business requirements and Microsoft Azure standards.
  • Consult on API designs focusing on integration, performance optimisation, security, and scalability.
  • Present documentation and provide governance in meetings such as the Technical Design Authority and Solution Design Authority.
  • Maintain and develop technical roadmaps, considering business needs, technology updates, and the broader impact on the technology estate.
  • Collaborate with architects from various disciplines to ensure alignment across different areas of responsibility.
  • Work with Strategic Delivery Partners to ensure that solutions meet organisational standards and strategic direction.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in designing and customising Dataverse/Dynamics entities and forms.
  • In-depth knowledge of PCF Controls and their applications in extending Dynamics functionality.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud platforms and related technologies.
  • Extensive technical experience with Azure Cloud architecture and the Microsoft ecosystem, including Azure, Rest APIs, Service Bus, and APIM.
  • Proficient in API architecture solutions and relational database structures with solid data modelling skills.
  • Experience with MS Power Platform and Dynamics ecosystems.
