An excellent, new permanent opportunity has become available to join a leading global multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy firm, as a Senior Modern Workplace Engineer. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to projects that make a significant impact on future generations and the environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Report to the Infrastructure Solutions Manager and collaborate within a skilled IT team focused on the design and delivery of Modern Workplace solutions.
- Engage in the design, implementation, and documentation of IT projects, ensuring alignment with business needs and security standards.
- Gather and document requirements, identifying suitable solutions to meet both present and future functional and non-functional requirements.
- Implement and test technical solutions, providing L3 support and driving technical leadership within the team.
- Utilize your expertise in Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, and Windows 11 security technologies to deliver high-quality IT services.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in 2nd / 3rd Iine roles, preferably within large enterprises.
- Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Intune (iOS/Windows), Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager OSD, and securing Windows 11 operating systems.
- Proficient in the design and implementation of Autopilot and Entra Conditional Access Configuration.
- Advanced skills in PowerShell scripting and hybrid client configuration & troubleshooting.
- Desirable skills include experience with Windows 365, Windows Hello/Password less deployments, and Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop (VDI) and modern workplace
- Microsoft certification or equivalent experience is highly advantageous.
- Key Skills Required:
- Intune OS Management & Patching: Expertise in managing and patching operating systems using Intune.
- Intune Autopilot: Proficient in automating device setup and pre-configuration for end-users with Intune Autopilot.
- Password less: Knowledge in implementing password less authentication methods to enhance security.
- Configuration Manager: Skilled in using Configuration Manager for managing devices and software.
- Windows OS Management and Lifecycle: Deep understanding of managing Windows operating systems throughout their lifecycle.
