Summary of Position

We are seeking a talented developer to join our UK-based development team within a fast-growing, dynamic FinTech environment. You will be part of an agile team building advanced solutions for recoveries portfolio management, supporting clients across banking, lending, utilities, and telecoms. Our mission is to empower organisations with innovative technology that drives smarter recoveries and sets new industry standards.

As a Web & Mobile Developer, you will take the lead in developing in-house platforms, including both B2B and B2C applications. This role involves hands-on work with mobile and web technologies, collaborating closely with internal teams and external stakeholders. We are looking for someone organised, analytical, and team-oriented-an excellent communicator in English, both written and verbal, with a professional and approachable manner.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Lead Engineer, you will be required to:

  • Design, build, and configure web and mobile applications and APIs to meet business and application requirements
  • Support existing applications and platforms
  • Write testable, scalable, and efficient code and lead code reviews
  • Create wireframes and implement designs

Preferred Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with a proven track record across the full software development lifecycle and comfortable working in a dynamic technical environment with an expanding customer base.

Essential skills include:

  • Strong experience with React, C# (.NET), and SQL
  • Frontend development expertise: CSS, HTML, Bootstrap
  • Experience with APIs and web applications
  • Solid knowledge of mobile application development
  • Familiarity with programming and security best practices
  • Experience in cloud application development (Azure)
  • Knowledge of coding best practices
  • Experience in unit and integration testing
  • Proficiency with GitHub and DevOps tools
  • Ability to produce clear software documentation
  • Strong troubleshooting and support skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office products
  • Exceptional communication skills in English (written and verbal)
