Programme Manager

  • Daily rate paying Inside IR35 via umbrella
  • Location: Farringdon, London (Hybrid working model)
  • Job Type: Contract (Until end of December 2025)

We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to join our team, supporting key operations and delivery divisions. This role involves managing two critical projects focused on fleet planning and telemetry services, both of which are crucial for enhancing operational efficiencies and technological advancements.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Oversee the delivery of the Fleet Planning and Management Information project, enhancing fleet planning capabilities and providing vital management information.
  • Lead the Fleet Telemetry Services project, implementing advanced telemetry solutions across the fleet.
  • Manage both projects from the design and planning phase through to execution, ensuring all objectives are met on time and within budget.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with the Technology Product Director and other key stakeholders to align project outcomes with strategic business goals.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Demonstrable experience in successfully delivering change projects, particularly in fleet operations or similar fields.
  • Strong stakeholder and people management skills, with the ability to handle challenging interactions effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging a broad audience and providing clear, succinct written updates.
  • Resilient and persistent, with the drive to maintain progress and resolve issues under pressure.
  • Good delegation and negotiation skills, with a calm approach to managing challenging situations.
  • Commercial acumen with experience in value-driven supplier management.
  • Technical proficiency to support the project team in issue resolution and escalation.
  • Creative and innovative thinking with robust problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with both traditional and modern software/IT development lifecycles, including Agile, Iterative, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Desirable: Experience with Agile/Lean teams using SCRUM, KANBAN, XP; Continuous Improvement knowledge; familiarity with Product Management, Architecture/Design, Testing, and DevOps best practices.
