AI & DATA - Programme Tutor Assessor
I am currently recruiting for a Programme Tutor Assessor (AI & Data) on behalf of a leading training provider. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional with a background in Data, Artificial Intelligence & Automation, or Apprenticeship delivery to join a growing and innovative team.
Location: Hull / Grimsby / Hybrid / Online
Salary: £33,945 - £37,336 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)
Hours: Full Time (part-time hours may be considered for the right candidate)
Closing Date: Sunday 6th September
About the Role
The successful candidate will deliver and assess learners on the:
- Data Technician Apprenticeship Standard
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Automation Practitioner Apprenticeship Standard
Candidates do not need experience in both Data and AI. Applications are welcomed from individuals with expertise in either area, although experience across both disciplines would be highly desirable.
The role is advertised as hybrid, with the balance between centre-based and remote delivery determined by employer and apprentice requirements. Flexibility is therefore essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment through face-to-face and online methods.
- Support and guide apprentices throughout their learning journey.
- Conduct learner reviews, set targets and monitor progress.
- Maintain strong relationships with employers and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with awarding body and funding requirements.
- Maintain accurate learner records and produce reports as required.
- Contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement activities.
- Support learner recruitment and programme development.
Ideal Candidate
We are interested in speaking with candidates who have practical knowledge and industry experience within either Data or AI & Automation.
Data knowledge may include:
- Data analysis and visualisation
- Data quality and cleansing
- Data management and reporting
- Statistical methods and data interpretation
- Data governance, compliance and ethical use of data
AI & Automation knowledge may include:
- Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI
- Automation tools such as Power Automate, Zapier or Make
- Prompt engineering
- Process improvement and workflow automation
- Ethical and responsible
- AI implementation AI solution design, testing and evaluation
Qualifications
Applicants should hold relevant occupational qualifications within their specialism and either:
- Hold a teaching qualification such as DTLLS, Cert Ed or Level 5 Diploma in Education; or
- Be willing to work towards one.
An assessor qualification (A1, D32/33 or CAVA) would be advantageous, although support may be available for the right candidate.
