Account Executive

Reed are working with a well know and highly respected international Saas based company that serve 4,000+ customers across 100+ countries.

This fast-growing SaaS company is seeking Commercial Account Executive to play a key role in optimising sales, driving demand and increasing revenue from software licences.

Role- Commercial Account Executive

Office Location- Edinburgh (candidates must be opening to vising the office on a hybrid basis)

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and run a sales strategy in the allocated territory with a target prospect list, and a regional sales plan
  • Identify customer needs and get to know their challenges, both technical and business-related.
  • Show potential customers how the software can solve their problems with clear, engaging presentations.
  • Plan your sales strategy, work with internal teams, and guide deals to the finish line.
  • Own the full sales cycle, from the first conversation to the final handshake, you’ll be in charge.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in quota-carrying SaaS/B2B software sales as an AE.
  • 2+ years in B2B sales or business development – you know how to connect with businesses and drive results.
  • Experience closing deals in fast-moving sales cycles (60-120 days) – you can move quickly while handling complex sales.
  • Strong communication skills- whether on the phone, in virtual meetings, or during technical presentations, you know how to engage and persuade.
  • Familiarity with sales tools like Salesforce, Salesloft, Gong, ZoomInfo, or similar platforms.
