Location: Hersham

Salary - £35,000 - £40,000

Hybrid working - 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home

About the Role

We are an energetic and ambitious technology business operating within the Financial Services sector,. Our clients span Utilities, Telecoms, Banking and Lending sectors — and we are passionate about empowering them through innovative technology solutions that enhance performance and improve financial recoveries.

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to take ownership of key client relationships, lead a growing team, drive service excellence, and support our continued growth. This role is crucial in ensuring client satisfaction, retention, and the smooth delivery of our solutions.

Team Leadership

  • Recruit, train, motivate and supervise Client Services team members.
  • Set clear goals, monitor performance, and foster a high-performing culture.

 Client Relationship Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building trusted and long-lasting relationships.
  • Ensure clients receive exceptional service aligned to their goals and expectations.

 Strategy & Continuous Improvement

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance client satisfaction, retention and growth.
  • Identify opportunities within existing accounts to maximise value.

 Issue & Escalation Resolution

  • Investigate and resolve complex client issues, ensuring timely and effective outcomes.
  • Lead escalations with professionalism and a solutions-focused approach.

 Operations & Reporting

  • Oversee day-to-day service operations, ensuring compliance and smooth delivery.
  • Produce and review accurate management reports for external distribution.

 Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales, IT, Finance, and Operations teams to deliver integrated, high-quality solutions.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Clear and confident communication skills at all levels, both verbal and written.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Ability to spot opportunities within an existing portfolio.
  • Experience coordinating cross-departmental work to deliver on client needs.
  • Strong team leadership and development skills.
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise multiple commitments.
  • A positive, adaptable and proactive attitude — even in challenging situations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently.
  • A flexible approach to evolving business needs.

Preferred Experience

  • Strong computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Would suit someone within the Collections & Recoveries industry - not a must
  • Understanding of Data Protection and Information Security requirements.
