We are recruiting a proactive and detail-driven Web Shop Administrator to support the smooth, day-to-day running of our client’s online retail platform. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small, dynamic team where creativity, organisation, and accuracy are key.

 Role Overview

The Web Shop Administrator will be responsible for maintaining high-quality product listings, supporting customers, and ensuring that online operations run efficiently. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update product listings with accurate descriptions, images, and specifications
  • Use AI tools and creative software to produce engaging product content
  • Monitor stock levels and liaise with internal teams to ensure availability
  • Handle customer enquiries by phone, providing excellent service and assisting with sales
  • Process online orders and coordinate with warehouse and dispatch teams
  • Provide first-line support to colleagues and customers for online shop queries
  • Identify opportunities to improve user experience and web shop performance
  • Ensure all digital content meets brand guidelines and deadlines
  • Assist with seasonal promotions, special offers, and marketing campaigns
  • Support the Web Shop and Retail team with general administrative duties

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Creative ability to write and adapt compelling product descriptions
  • Experience using AI content-generation tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure
  • Competent in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms (advantageous)
  • Confident handling data and numerical accuracy
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable
  • Highly attentive to detail with a commitment to quality

Hours: 40 hours per week – 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday
