Agile Coach - Contract
Reed Technology is working with a major public-sector organisation seeking an experienced Agile Coach to support multiple teams within their Data & Analytics function. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in complex environments, enjoys working across diverse disciplines, and can balance hands-on delivery support with wider coaching and facilitation.
This is an initial 6-month contract, Outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of Data and AI Products by working closely with Data Science and Data Engineering teams.
- Provide hands-on Agile coaching and delivery support to teams and leaders.
- Establish and improve Agile ways of working across the Data & Analytics function.
- Work with leadership to define, prioritise and progress key strategic initiatives.
- Facilitate planning sessions, workshops and regular Agile ceremonies.
- Shape Agile delivery for the Data Science team, including Jira setup, workflows, cadences and aligning with software engineering practices.
- Support multiple teams in delivering products and services aligned to roadmaps and organisational value.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong practical understanding of Agile principles, concepts and frameworks.
- Proven experience embedding Agile practices across varied team types, not just product teams.
- Understanding of effective Agile software product development.
- Track record of driving continuous improvement, including in high-performing teams.
- Understanding of what good digital and data service delivery looks like.
- Experience supporting teams building digital, data or AI-driven products.
- Cross-industry background (public-sector experience desirable but not essential).
- Genuine interest and experience with data and AI-led initiatives.
