Application & Business Training Officer
Our client, a global and fast-growing organisation operating at the heart of the technology and supply chain sector, is seeking an Application & Business Training Officer. Supporting businesses worldwide with critical products and solutions, this is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their career in training and business systems within a dynamic, evolving environment.
You’ll play a key role in enabling employees to effectively use business applications and systems, helping drive adoption, improve efficiency, and support continuous operational improvement across the organisation.
This is a permanent position with a salary banding of £45,000 to £55,000 + excellent benefits. The organisation is based in Newbury, Berkshire, but the role can be offered on a hybrid or remote basis.
Key Responsibilities
Training Design & Development
- Create training manuals, user guides, and e-learning materials for business systems
- Develop engaging content for both new and existing applications
Delivery & Coaching
- Deliver in-person, virtual, and blended training sessions
- Provide coaching and support to individuals and teams
Process Optimisation Support
- Work with Operations teams to map and improve business processes
- Support implementation of process changes to drive efficiency
System Knowledge Maintenance
- Keep training materials up to date with system and process changes
- Ensure documentation reflects current best practice
Monitoring & Evaluation
- Assess user competency through feedback, QA, and assessments
- Identify skill gaps and provide targeted coaching
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with managers to identify training needs
- Report on training effectiveness and performance metrics
About You
- Experience in training, learning & development, or systems training roles
- Experience delivering training on business systems or applications
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to simplify complex processes and systems for users
- Organised, proactive, and detail-oriented
- Experience working with stakeholders across multiple functions
