We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support the delivery of a significant technology and regulatory change programme within a complex stakeholder environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a project professional with experience delivering technology-focused projects and working within structured project lifecycles. Experience within the transport sector is highly desirable, although candidates from other regulated industries will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the successful delivery of technology projects and programme activities.
  • Assist throughout the full project lifecycle, including design, build, testing and go-live phases.
  • Engage with a wide range of stakeholders across the business.
  • Monitor project progress against key milestones and deadlines.
  • Support governance, reporting and regulatory change activities.
  • Help identify and manage risks, issues and dependencies.
Essential Requirements
  • Experience supporting or delivering technology projects.
  • Previous involvement in regulatory change or compliance-related programmes.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end project delivery lifecycles.
  • Ability to work effectively in complex stakeholder environments.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Desirable Experience
  • Transport sector experience.
  • Previous experience working with organisations such as TfL or similar public sector/transport operators.
  • Experience working on politically sensitive or high-profile programmes.
  • Project delivery experience within large, complex organisations.
Candidate Profile

We are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate:

  • 5-10 years' experience within project delivery environments.
  • A background in technology project delivery.
  • Exposure to regulatory change initiatives.
  • A solid understanding of project governance and lifecycle management.
  • The ability to operate in fast-paced and evolving programmes.
