Business Analyst

We're Hiring: Business Analysts x  2 - RP Implementation (HR & Payroll) Location: County Antrim Contract Type: Temporary, 6 months initially  Salary: £21.65 per hour + all REED Benefits Closing Date: Friday 12th September 2025

As part of our client’s strategic transformation, they are implementing a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to modernise and streamline operations.

Ideally, I am seeking two experienced Business Analysts to join the Business Systems team and play a pivotal role in the successful design, configuration, and implementation of the HR and Payroll modules.

These roles will act as a vital bridge between business needs and technical delivery, ensuring that functional requirements are fully captured, validated, and embedded into the ERP solution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to capture detailed business requirements for HR or Payroll processes
  • Process Mapping: Analyse and document current and future state workflows to inform system design
  • ERP Configuration Support: Work with implementation partners to align system setup with business needs
  • User Engagement: Serve as a liaison between operational teams and technical project staff
  • Testing Support: Develop and execute test scenarios including UAT and defect tracking
  • Data Migration: Support validation and reconciliation of legacy data
  • Change Management: Contribute to training, communications, and transition planning
  • Documentation: Maintain process documentation, specifications, and change logs
  • Continuous Improvement: Recommend enhancements using ERP functionality and automation
  • Project Delivery: Support planning, milestone tracking, and risk escalation
  • Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as required in line with the role

Essential Criteria

Applicants must either:

  • Hold a degree or postgraduate qualification in any discipline and demonstrate 2 years’ relevant experience,OR
  • Demonstrate 4 years’ relevant experience without a degree.

Relevant experience includes:

  • Gathering and analysing functional requirements for systems or digital projects.
  • Strong understanding of HR or Payroll processes and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to develop process maps, documentation, and user stories.
