Reed Professional Services is seeking a Business Analyst to join our clients Compliance team. This role involves reviewing and enhancing compliance operating procedures and processes to ensure they align with regulatory frameworks and are clear, efficient, and effective.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Review existing compliance operating procedures and processes drafted by the Compliance team.
• Ensure these procedures are aligned with the regulatory framework, are clear, easy to follow, and free of ambiguity.
• Identify any gaps, set out dependencies, and ensure templates are available to support standardization while eliminating duplication.
• Provide clear feedback and a summary of advice to the leadership team through structured presentations.
• Conduct gap analysis on onboarding training and feedback to ensure comprehensive training for new team members.
• Plan and support the implementation of new processes and procedures, including delivering training on new approaches.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Proficient in assessing procedures for clarity, completeness, and alignment with standards.
• Experienced in gap analysis, risk identification, and improvement identification.
• Skilled in documentation and standardisation, creating user-friendly procedures and supporting templates.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Miro).
• Ability to produce structured reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Strong facilitation and engagement skills.
• Capable of presenting findings and recommendations clearly and concisely.
• Experience in supporting the rollout of new processes and onboarding improvements.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and the ability to simplify complex information.
• Collaborative and adaptable under tight timelines with strong organisational and time management skills.
