Business Analysts – UK Payments Specialists Contract / Interim Opportunities6 Months - £600 to £650
Are you a Business Analyst with deep, hands-on experience across the UK payments landscape? We’re supporting a major transformation programme and are looking for several strong BA profiles who genuinely understand how payments work end-to-end — not just on paper, but in the real world.
What we’re looking for
You’ll bring credible experience across:
UK Domestic Payments
- Solid grounding in BACS – this is essential
- Exposure to Faster Payments, current account switching and wider UK schemes
- Understanding of domestic processing flows and related operational impacts
International Payments
- Experience with SWIFT and cross-border payment journeys
- Ability to compare/contrast domestic vs international flows
Migration & Transformation Projects
- Mapping current vs target payment flows
- Supporting integration, transition and cutover activities
- Working closely with architecture and engineering teams to join the dots
Business Technical Bridge
- Interpreting complex end-to-end payment journeys
- Documenting actual vs intended system behaviour
- Spotting gaps, ambiguities and risks before they bite
Stakeholder Engagement
- Partnering with SMEs across payments, operations and tech
- Navigating fast-moving, ambiguous environments with confidence
- Keeping delivery teams aligned and focused
Mindset & Approach
- Pragmatic, delivery-focused and not reliant on theoretical models
- Comfortable working around legacy constraints and tight timelines
- Able to balance ideal-world vision with real-world delivery
Location
London presence is useful, but the right capability and experience will always come first.
