We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our client on a 12-month contract. This role involves supporting the delivery of key cyber, infrastructure, and IT programmes for a major postal service provider. The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Project Manager to shape requirements, analyse current and future states, and ensure clarity across complex technical workstreams.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Lead end-to-end business analysis activities across multiple cyber and infrastructure projects.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Project Manager to define and agree on project scope, deliverables, and requirements.
  • Conduct as-is and to-be business process analysis, ensuring robust documentation and traceability.
  • Elicit, validate, and document clear, concise, and unambiguous business and technical requirements.
  • Produce quality artefacts including process maps, requirements catalogues, acceptance criteria, gap analyses, and decision logs.
  • Facilitate workshops and interviews with technical teams, cyber teams, business stakeholders, and external suppliers.
  • Assist with impact assessments, solution evaluation, and translation of business needs into actionable technical outcomes.
  • Ensure alignment with structured governance frameworks and provide structured communication across all stakeholder groups.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience as a Business Analyst within complex IT or infrastructure environments.
  • Proven experience in cybersecurity or security-driven projects such as UEBA, DLP, IAM, and network security.
  • Proficient in as-is / to-be modelling, use-case development, and requirements definition.
  • Ability to produce clear, high-quality documentation for governance boards and technical teams.
  • Understanding of structured governance methodologies like MSP or Prince2.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including engineering, cyber, architecture, and operations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to simplify complex issues effectively.
  • A calm, credible, and assured presence in stakeholder interactions.
