Join Reed Professional Services as a Business Analyst, where you will play a pivotal role in delivering complex commercial and billing changes within one of our clients. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in technology change management within large, regulated organisations, particularly those experienced with SAP billing and product configurations.
Day-to-Day of the Role:
- Collaborate with Commercial, Finance, Operations, and Technology teams to define, design, and deliver enhancements to SAP billing, data platforms, and downstream reporting.
- Focus on attribute-based product configuration, billing capability evolution, and data/reporting changes across enterprise platforms.
- Elicit and document requirements that support option analysis and decision-making without prematurely locking into a single solution.
- Translate commercial propositions into clear functional and non-functional requirements, collaborating with architects, developers, and test teams.
- Lead the analysis and evaluation of billing presentation options, ensuring that all commercial, operational, and customer impacts are fully understood and addressed.
- Support product changes using combined chassis, ensuring correct configuration, pricing, eligibility, and downstream processing.
- Define and manage reporting and data requirements to measure and compare billing outcomes under different approaches.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a large, regulated organisation.
- Strong experience with SAP billing and product configuration, including attribute-based products.
- Deep understanding of billing processes, invoice generation, and customer charging models.
- Experience defining requirements for system integrations and web services.
- Strong data analysis skills, with experience in enterprise reporting and data platforms.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of bridging commercial and technical teams.
- Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
Desirable:
- Experience in logistics, parcels, postal, or regulated utilities.
- Familiarity with operational data platforms like Redlands.
- Knowledge of itemised billing, surcharging models, or DLT-enabled data solutions.
