Business Analyst

  • £400 per day via Umbrella
  • 6 months initial contract
  • 3 days per week on-site in Warrington, 2 WFH

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Business Analyst to lead the design, definition, and documentation of required business and system process changes. This role is crucial for facilitating workshops, creating benefits profiles, and developing commitment to required changes. You will play a key role in liaising with both internal and external stakeholders to harmonise processes and system functionalities.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Lead the understanding of business needs, structure, processes, policies, and operations.
  • Support the recommendation and assessment of impacts of change.
  • Capture, analyse, and document requirements, ensuring they meet business needs.
  • Support the communication and delivery of requirements to stakeholders.
  • Elicit, translate, validate, communicate, negotiate, and manage requirements.
  • Identify, define, communicate, and negotiate solutions that maximise value delivered to stakeholders.
  • Act as a communication channel between stakeholders and the project team, including gathering feedback.
  • Translate technical and architectural issues for stakeholders to aid in effective decision-making.
  • Assist in writing user acceptance tests/cases and liaise between testing resources and stakeholders.
  • Represent stakeholders in discussions and decision-making processes.
  • Identify and model processes, data, and business rules.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in similar roles.
  • Strong ability to deliver Business and System Process Maps (UML), User Stories, and Use Case Diagrams.
  • Experience in developing a thorough MoSCoW and Business Requirements Catalogue.
  • Skilled in designing Test Cases/Scenarios.
  • Ability to support the development of a SMART Benefits Plan.
  • Input into the design of training materials.
  • Expertise in managing complex stakeholders and their expectations.
  • Proficient in conducting end-to-end requirements gathering and facilitating workshops/focus groups that drive successful outputs.
  • Familiarity with process mapping software tools and up-to-date knowledge of solutions for future developments.
