Reed Professional Services is seeking a Business Analyst to join a transformative project focused on the digitisation of fleet devices and operational workflows at a prestigious company with a rich history spanning over hundreds of years. This role is crucial for enhancing how frontline teams utilise technology, improving processes such as label scanning, vehicle data management, and form completion.

Day-to-Day of the Role:

  • Elicit, document, and manage both business and technical requirements for fleet digitisation initiatives.
  • Develop high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria to aid delivery teams.
  • Collaborate closely with Solution Architects to define and refine non-functional requirements like performance, usability, and reliability.
  • Evaluate and recommend optimal handheld or fleet devices for operational use.
  • Analyse existing systems to assess their suitability for current and future needs.
  • Engage with internal technology teams and external partners to ensure effective implementation of technology solutions.
  • Facilitate workshops and interviews to gather insights, validate solutions, and understand real-world challenges at operational sites.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, particularly in form completion, device usage, and data capture.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst within digital transformation or technology-led programmes.
  • Strong skills in requirements gathering and user story writing.
  • Experience in assessing hardware/software solutions and making recommendations.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, capable of working with both business and technical teams.
  • Desirable: Experience with fleet management systems, device selection and deployment, and working with third-party vendors.
