Join our team at Reed Professional Services, a leading Management Consultancy in IT services. We are currently seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a strategic initiative aimed at enhancing mobile device capabilities within one of large London based candidates.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Lead the capture of functional and non-functional requirements for the mobile device platform and strategy.
• Collaborate closely with operational stakeholders to understand frontline processes, challenges, and future needs.
• Analyse and document requirements with high precision and quality.
• Serve as a liaison between Operations and Technology teams, translating operational needs into structured, technical requirements.
• Work alongside Solution Architects to support the creation of solution designs and validate that proposed solutions meet business needs.
• Contribute to the procurement process by defining requirements, participating in vendor evaluation, and supporting device trials.
• Produce comprehensive documentation including business requirements documents, functional and non-functional specifications, process maps, and user journeys.
• Support governance processes to ensure traceability between requirements, design, and outcomes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in complex, cross-functional programmes.
• Strong skills in requirements gathering, documentation, and analysis.
• Experience bridging Operations and Technology environments.
• Ability to articulate business needs into detailed technical requirements.
• Experience collaborating with Solution Architects and Engineering teams.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills.
• Experience in producing detailed functional and non-functional requirements, process maps, and user journeys.

Desirable:

• Background in mobile platforms, device strategies, or field-based technologies.
• Exposure to procurement processes, vendor selection, or RFPs.
• Experience in logistics, operations, or large-scale enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with Android or device-agnostic platforms.
• Understanding of managed service environments.
