Business Analyst - SC Cleared
A leading global professional services organisation is collaborating with a public sector client and they are seeking a talented Business Analyst to join the Business & Technology Integration team. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with one of the UK’s largest government departments, responsible for welfare and pension policy. You will play a key role in analysing business needs, designing processes and systems, and ensuring seamless integration between business and technology.
This is an initial 4-month contract and will be hybrid working from the Newcastle office, the daily rate is £350 to £400 per day via an umbrella company (inside IR35).
The successful candidate will need to already hold active SC Clearance, if you do not hold this at the moment we will not be able to proceed with your application.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze organizational structures and design processes and systems to meet business objectives.
- Assess current business models and define future state solutions aligned with technology integration.
- Gather, research, and synthesize information to support decision-making and solution design.
- Facilitate workshops to capture requirements and foster collaboration among stakeholders.
- Develop clear and comprehensive documentation of business processes and system requirements.
- Utilize data analysis techniques to identify trends and insights that inform business decisions.
- Create visual representations of processes to enhance understanding and communication.
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
- Act as a subject matter expert, guiding and managing teams to deliver effective outcomes.
- Engage with multiple teams, contribute to key decisions, and provide solutions to complex problems.
Skills & Experience Required
- Advanced proficiency in Business Process Analysis Tools.
- Strong experience in Business Process Design, Requirements Analysis, and Business Model Strategy.
- Excellent facilitation skills for workshops and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to produce high-quality documentation and process visualizations.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making.
- Proven ability to manage teams and influence decisions across multiple stakeholders.
