Business Development Account Manager

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Sales Consultant to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the promotion and sale of our financial technology platform to both existing and new clients. The position involves developing strong client relationships, conducting product demonstrations, and identifying opportunities to expand our customer base. Some UK travel will be required to attend meetings and deliver presentations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow relationships with existing clients while identifying new business opportunities.
  • Engage with organisations to identify key decision makers.
  • Conduct client visits and deliver effective product demonstrations.
  • Generate and qualify new leads to build a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Consistently achieve monthly sales targets.
  • Sell and negotiate via phone, email, and face-to-face meetings.
  • Maximise all opportunities to support ongoing business growth.
  • Monitor competitor activity and report market developments.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system.
  • Produce sales and commission reports when required.
  • Liaise with the Finance team to ensure client invoicing and accounts are accurate and current.
  • Carry out additional duties as required and agreed with your line manager.

  • Proven track record in sales.
  • Previous experience within the financial services industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional, flexible, and confident approach.
  • Comfortable working with clients at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative.
  • Strong time-management skills and ability to prioritise workload effectively.
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Methodical, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Good numeracy and literacy levels.
  • Solid understanding of the financial market.
  • Prior experience in a similar sales role.
  • Strong IT skills, including MS Word, Excel, and database systems.

Additional Requirements
