Day-to-Day of the Role:

  • Growth and Expansion: Win new airline partnerships for IFE Content, Creative Services, and Digital Experiential Products. Design and enforce a data-driven bid/no-bid framework to prioritize high-return deals.
  • Customer Engagement: Proactively engage with new and existing airline customers to position our media products and services. Develop direct relationships with key airline executives.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Identify and develop key strategic partners and new products, services, and solutions for us to take to market.
  • Retention and Upselling: Support regional account directors with clear performance narratives and data-backed recommendations. Expand offerings to existing customers by upselling new product features and services.
  • Sales Enablement: Deliver sales methodology training and develop a standardized airline sales toolkit to enhance the capabilities of regional teams.
  • Industry Leadership: Represent the company at major aviation events and exhibitions, delivering thought leadership and securing executive access to airlines and relevant partners.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: 8-12+ years in IFE business development within aviation, travel media, adtech, OTT, or related sectors. Direct airline/IFE/IFC experience is strongly preferred.
  • Network: Proven track record of acquiring new airlines and an active network of airline contacts.
  • Skills: Strong financial acumen with expertise in proposal creation, servicing models, forecasting, and business casing. Excellent executive communication and negotiation skills.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or equivalent is an advantage.
  • Competencies: Hunter mindset with consultative selling skills, pipeline discipline, and forecasting rigor. Analytical storyteller who turns data into strategy and action.
