Business Development Manager

• Annual Salary: £40k (OTE £60k)
• Location: Home-based, covering the South of England
• Job Type: Full-time

Are you a proactive Business Development/Technical Sales Manager looking to join a fantastic team who are experiencing growth within the industry? Reporting to the Senior Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for sales and marketing, managing both private and commercial accounts across the South of England. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in B2B capital sales and good strong technical background.

• Manage account relationships and develop new client opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with single site, multiple site and national companies to provide equipment, service, and/or chemical products.
• Develop national accounts with major customers, negotiating and maintaining equipment supply and service agreements on a country-wide basis.
• Undertake site surveys for new and replacement equipment.
• Propose, cost, and present solutions that meet the customer's requirements both technically and financially.
• Maintain knowledge of the technical aspects of the company's equipment.
• Understand competitors’ equipment, service, and pricing to gain a competitive advantage.
• Implement marketing strategies, which may include exhibitions, hospitality, advertising, etc.

• Based in South England.
• Proven record of selling B2B capital
• Technical or engineering background is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience in working with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong IT skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• CAD experience is an advantage.

• Competitive salary with an OTE of £60k.
• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
